Use Policy

- Only upload photos of yourself, or someone who has consented
- Never upload photos of minors under 13
- Don't use FaceOS to harass, profile, or make decisions about other people
- Don't try to break, scrape, overload, or exploit the service
- Don't represent readings as medical, legal, hiring, or insurance decisions
Who This Applies To
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses FaceOS at readmyface.app. By using the Service you agree to these rules. Violating them may result in suspension or termination of your access, with no refund for tokens used in violation.
Photo & Consent Rules
- Your own face, or consented faces only. Only upload a photo of yourself, or of an adult who has clearly agreed to be scanned.
- No minors. Do not upload photos of anyone under the age of 13, under any circumstances.
- No non-consensual scanning. Do not upload photos of people who have not agreed — no strangers, no public figures without consent, no covertly captured images.
- No harmful profiling. Do not use FaceOS to evaluate, judge, surveil, or make decisions about other people.
FaceOS does not store your photos — each image is processed and immediately discarded. But the responsibility for having the right to upload a given photo is yours.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use FaceOS to:
- Make or inform medical, psychological, hiring, lending, insurance, or legal decisions about anyone
- Harass, intimidate, profile, or discriminate against any person or group
- Upload illegal, abusive, sexually explicit, or hateful imagery
- Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or resell any part of the Service or its output
- Overload, attack, or attempt to bypass the rate limits or security of the Service
- Manipulate the token system, free-scan system, or survey data through fraud or automation
- Misrepresent FaceOS readings as clinical, factual, or professional assessments
Automated Access
FaceOS is for individual human use. Automated scraping, bots, scripted scanning, or programmatic access to our endpoints is not permitted. We rate-limit and monitor for abuse, and may block access that appears automated.
Enforcement
We may suspend or permanently terminate access for any violation of this policy. Serious violations — especially those involving minors or non-consensual use — may be reported to the appropriate authorities. Tokens used in violation of this policy are not refundable.
