FaceOS is a wellness curiosity application operated under The Natural Operating System brand. We provide AI-powered face readings across 12 dimensions inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine and natural wellness principles.

By using FaceOS, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to provide the service:

• Email address — required to create your account, store your token balance, and deliver your report.
• Photos you upload — used only to generate your face reading. Not stored after your scan is complete.
• Scan history — we log when scans occur and how many tokens were used, tied to your email, to maintain accurate token balances.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your FaceOS account
• To run your face scan and generate your 12D wellness report
• To deliver your report to your email inbox
• To track and display your token balance
• To process payments through Stripe
• To send product updates if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime)

4. Your Photos

We take photo privacy seriously. Here is exactly what happens to your uploaded image:

• Your photo is converted to a data format and sent to our AI analysis system
• The analysis is performed and your report is generated
• Your photo is discarded immediately after — it is never written to permanent storage
• We do not build a database of faces
• We do not use your photos to train AI models
• We do not share your photos with any third party

5. Data Storage & Security

Your email address and token balance are stored securely in our database powered by Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption and security practices. We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure your data is accessible only through authorized requests.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never have access to your full card number, CVV, or payment credentials.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with:

• Supabase — our database provider, for storing your account and token data
• Stripe — our payment processor, for handling token purchases
• Anthropic — our AI provider, which processes your photo to generate your report (photos are not stored by Anthropic per their data policies)

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Unsubscribe from any email communications at any time
• Request correction of any inaccurate data

8. Cookies & Tracking

FaceOS does not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or third-party advertising trackers. We do not run ads on this platform. Your visit to FaceOS is not tracked across the web.

9. Children's Privacy

FaceOS is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of FaceOS after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Wellness Disclaimer

FaceOS is a wellness curiosity and entertainment application. It is not a medical device and does not collect or process health data for clinical purposes. Face readings provided by FaceOS are not medical diagnoses and should not be used as such.
