Who We Are

FaceOS is a wellness curiosity application operated under The Natural Operating System brand at readmyface.app. We provide AI-powered face readings across 12 dimensions inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine and natural wellness principles. By using FaceOS you agree to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.

What We Collect

• Email address — to create your account, store your token balance, and deliver your scan report.
• Photos you upload — processed in memory only. Never written to permanent storage. Discarded immediately after your scan completes.
• Scan activity — we log when scans occur and token usage to maintain accurate balances. No photo data is included.
• Survey responses — completely anonymous. No email, no name, no device ID.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your card details.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your FaceOS account
• To run your face scan and generate your 12D wellness report
• To deliver your report to your email inbox
• To display and manage your scan token balance
• To process token purchases through Stripe
• To improve FaceOS accuracy using anonymous survey responses
• To send product updates if you have not unsubscribed

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose not listed above.

Your Photos

• Your photo is sent securely to our AI analysis system
• The AI reads your face and generates your 12D wellness report
• Your photo is immediately discarded — never written to any database or storage system
• We do not build a database of faces
• We do not use your photos to train AI models
• We do not share your photos with any third party
• Our AI provider Anthropic processes your image transiently and does not retain it

Data Storage & Security

Your email and token balance are stored in our database powered by Supabase using AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified processor. API services run on Vercel serverless infrastructure over HTTPS.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties outside those listed above.

Survey Data

Survey responses are completely anonymous. We do not link responses to your email, account, or any identifying information. Responses are used only to improve FaceOS accuracy. Aggregate anonymous statistics may be shared publicly.

Your Rights

• Access — request a copy of data we hold about you
• Deletion — request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Opt-out — unsubscribe from emails at any time

Cookies & Tracking

FaceOS does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking. We use browser sessionStorage only to maintain your login session during your visit — cleared when you close your browser tab, never sent to our servers.

Children's Privacy

FaceOS is not intended for use by individuals under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top when we do. Continued use of FaceOS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
