Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FaceOS ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of FaceOS, including visitors, registered users, and token purchasers.

2. Description of Service

FaceOS is a wellness curiosity application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze face photos across 12 dimensions inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and natural wellness principles. The Service provides general wellness observations for entertainment and curiosity purposes only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use FaceOS. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian permission before using the Service.

4. Scan Tokens

FaceOS uses an internal credit system called Scan Tokens to access full face scan reports.

• Free token: Every new account receives 1 free scan token upon signup. No payment required.
• Starter Pack: $8 USD for 3 scan tokens.
• Value Pack: $17 USD for 10 scan tokens.
• Expiry: Tokens never expire.
• Non-transferable: Tokens are tied to your email address and cannot be transferred to another account.
• Non-refundable: Token purchases are generally non-refundable, except as described in the Creator Refund Program below.

5. Creator Refund Program

We offer a full refund of your token purchase under the following conditions:

• You purchased a Starter Pack ($8) or Value Pack ($17)
• You posted a video publicly featuring your FaceOS scan result
• That video reached 2,000 or more views
• You submitted proof (screenshot of view count and video link) via DM on our official Instagram or TikTok
• Your refund request was submitted within 30 days of purchase

Refunds under this program are processed within 3–5 business days of verification. We reserve the right to verify the authenticity of view counts and decline refund requests that appear fraudulent or artificially inflated.

6. Payments & Billing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not store your payment card information. All prices are in USD. Applicable taxes may apply depending on your location.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use FaceOS to:

• Upload photos of individuals without their consent
• Upload photos of minors
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Misrepresent FaceOS results as medical diagnoses
• Attempt to manipulate the token system through fraudulent means
• Share, sell, or transfer tokens to other users

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, branding, and reports generated by FaceOS are the intellectual property of The Natural Operating System. You may share your personal scan results for personal and social media use. You may not reproduce, resell, or redistribute FaceOS content or technology without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of FaceOS is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Wellness Disclaimer

All face readings, reports, and recommendations provided by FaceOS are for general wellness curiosity and entertainment purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Results should not be used as a basis for medical decisions. Individual results will vary. 11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaceOS and The Natural Operating System shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for tokens in the 30 days preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or reliable. AI-generated readings are not guaranteed to reflect any clinical reality.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to FaceOS for any user who violates these Terms of Service, engages in fraudulent activity, or misuses the Service. Unused tokens at the time of termination for cause are non-refundable.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date when we do. Continued use of FaceOS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
